License agreement

This agreement between you and Cognitive OS covers your use of the service — the web app and the apps for Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android. By creating an account or using the service you accept it.
1. What you get
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Cognitive OS for your own purposes while your account exists. The software, the design and the Cognitive OS name remain ours.
2. Your content is yours
Everything you write, say and upload belongs to you. You allow us to store and process it — AI services included — exactly as far as the service needs to work for you. How, the Privacy policy says.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your account. One account is for one person.
4. What you may not do
Break the law or other people's rights; try to reach other people's data or our systems; disrupt the service or flood it with automated requests; reverse-engineer the apps except where the law expressly allows it; resell access to the service.
5. About the AI's answers
Answers, notes and conclusions the AI makes can be inaccurate or incomplete. It is a memory assistant, not a doctor, lawyer or financial adviser: check what matters against the source. The text you wrote yourself is never changed without you.
6. The service as it is
We work for the service to be reliable and to lose nothing, but we provide it as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or lost profits.
7. Changes and ending
The service evolves: features come and change. You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may limit access after a serious breach of this agreement. A new edition of the agreement appears on this page with a new date.
8. Third-party components
Cognitive OS uses open-source software, distributed under its own licenses.
